TE MANIA BERKLEY B1 (AI)
Te Mania Berkley B1 is the result of a ten year plan to breed an outcross sire with great phenotype, length, strength and thickness. He is the # 1 ranked sire on Australasian Breedplan for the Long Fed/CAAB $Index, currently $156. He is also the highest ranking bull for the Heavy Grass Fed Steer $Index and the Short Fed Domestic $Index.
The most outstanding son of Te Mania Yorkshire, Berkley has Yorkshire's placid nature and was structurally accessed under the accredited Beef Class Structural Assessment System with all 6's for feet and legs on 10/9/09. Andrew Gubbins says "Berkley was ahead of his field as a three month old calf and has just continued on to prove his exceptional qualities through Breedplan. His Estimated Breeding Values and phenotype show he is the bull to head up the Australian Angus Industry."
